Dear students

Whether we want it or not distance learning came to Kazakhstan and became part of the life of each family. We had to get out of our comfort zone and start learning to work in unusual conditions. Having analyzed your questions, arisen in our online consultations and distance learning lessons of the first week, we would like to recommend you the following:
1.  Organize your workspace so that you always know exactly what and where is placed
2.  At the beginning, you will be confused and some questions may occur. How to do this task?  How to ask a question from a teacher? Where should I upload a file? Stop! Keep calm! It will take some time to fully understand the situation.
3. Find factors that interfere with your learning. You have to eliminate these factors during the lessons.
4. Keep in touch with others in social media. Hence, do not hesitate to call and write your classmates, friends since this greatly influences your emotional state.
5. Have rests between lessons and before starting doing homework. Do exercises /dance, listen to music during breaks.
We would like to warn you about following ‘traps’ – please try to avoid them:
1. Apathy. Showing indifference to several lessons and acute need in face-to-face contact (insufficiency of social connections and friends).
2. Procrastination.  Desire to postpone doing tasks and homework.
Within distance learning it is easy to relax and hard to concentrate. There is a range of distracting factors around – social media, memes, younger siblings, outside noises, food smells and so on.

Good luck, students, and remember, quarantine is temporal and you can use this time with benefit!
